ATC operates solely in fragile environments in Africa, and thus has extensive experience managing security in conflict-affected countries. We have conducted many research projects across South Sudan, Uganda, DRC and Tanzania. Leveraging our local expertise in conjunction with innovative, participatory research methodologies, we provide essential insight that adheres to international quality standards.

ATC Consulting has grown to a staff of over 120 individuals across, South Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania and DRC, dedicated to offering high-quality research services in the most complex and logistically challenging environments. As part of our core business strategy, our work invests in local research capabilities while developing contextually appropriate and feasible methodologies and approaches that adhere to international standards for social science research. We are committed to providing research and consultancy services to the development community and private sector, including UN agencies, international NGOs, and donor governments. The scope of our research is not limited to one thematic area; instead we focus on providing the highest quality of data collection to a variety of sectors in international development to deliver unmatched insights that inform evaluations such as project evaluations, media & audience research, opinion polling, market and needs assessments, feasibility studies, Midline assessments, and trainings and capacity building workshops.

Quantitative services includes; Sampling design/framework, data collection -including national surveys, quality assurance, cleaning, advance analysis including test of hypotheses by regression or difference in difference analysis.
Triangulation is a usual process we use in reporting. Reporting includes comprehensive word document, research briefing and power point presentation. We also offer training on quantitative research skills

Our qualitative research services are: Research design -includes; theories, hypothesis; internationalization: participatory research/photo-voice/protective techniques; longitudinal study; focus group discussions; in-depth interviews/key-informants, transcription, analysis and reporting
